30th September 2010 – Vichy to Fourneaux, Limousin – France

Its raining today – but how can we appreciate the sunshine if we never have rain?

This morning we enjoyed our free internet access and left camp at about 1.30pm. Not a great day for photos or sightseeing however as we drove south west it seemed to get a little better.

When we got to our camp we realized the name of the camp “Creuse Nature Naturiste” actually means “a la natural” so we decided to drive a little further and keep our clothes on! Found a lovely camp nearer to Limoges in the middle of nowhere really. It is good to find camping card camps because it puts us in places we probably would never normally drive to but would have bypassed. A lot of camps are closed now – 30th September – but it makes it quite cheap if you can find an open one. We often pay 11 euros now instead of the sometimes 28 we were paying. We have not freedom camped for a long time now.

We had a bagUette (Arnold) for tea, a few nibbles and didn’t bother about a full meal. Very relaxing evening as no blog to do. Also we had arrived nice and early, so a little knitting and reading.

Dreary start to the day
