Nevertheless we have things to do, places to go and people to see.
Beautiful showers this morning - love these 5 star camps. Headed off to Swindon. We were seeing the campervan dealer about 2pm so ended up strolling the shops at Swindon and then having a lovely pub lunch before heading off to his place.
The countryside around here is very beautiful. Reminded us Marilyn and John when you first took us to his place and we oohed and awwed out the window all the way - well it is no different four months later - we are still enthralled. Lots of thatched roof cottages and beautiful trees everywhere.
We have done the deal on the camper. We are both quite sad about it really as it is the end of a great holiday and selling the camper has a finality about it. We drop it off Tuesday morning and then catch a bus or train to Heathrow.
Off then to Silverstone - more race tracks. Nothing much happening there and we took ages and ages to find a camp tonight. Geoff intends to go back tomorrow to see motorbikes and sidecars racing so I will enjoy a chill out in the camper - hopefully I will be feeling a little better.
