9th October 2010 – Roissy en France, France

I think we have seen more of Paris underground in the RER and Metros than we have of Paris above ground!! This morning we got packed and organized for Spain and made sure the camper was as secure as it could be. A little tired today as did not sleep well and have had quite full on days in Paris.

We walked to the station and caught the first train, transferred to another train then caught a bus and arrived at the airport terminal finally. It took 3 hours so we are very glad we are staying right by the airport for the morning because we never would have made it! We were glad we had bought a baguette at the local patisserie to munch on!

We took the free hotel shuttle to our hotel and collapsed on the bed. We got one free hour of internet so we did the essentials and got one day updated on the blog before it crashed.

We were going to go back into Paris but it was going to be just too much effort so we went for a walk to the village. Lovely little area – if you worked at the airport would be fab to live here. Found a supermarket and bought a sandwich and salad for dinner and took it back to our room.

Excited to be going to Spain tomorrow!
